• Fulltime (Fixed-term Contract – 8 months)

DatVietVAC Group Holdings is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (Intellectual Property) to provide legal advisory and support for intellectual property matters across the Group. The role is responsible for advising on IP licensing, copyright, content acquisition and exploitation, protecting the Group's intellectual property assets, and supporting business operations through effective legal risk management.

1. Legal Advisory for IP Licensing & Assignment (40%)

• Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal advice on agreements relating to copyright assignment, licensing, acquisition, and intellectual property exploitation.
• Support legal negotiations with partners and ensure contracts adequately protect the Group's interests.
• Prepare and maintain legal templates and documentation related to intellectual property transactions.

2. Legal Advisory for Intellectual Property Exploitation (15%)

• Provide legal advice for television programs, films, digital content, and other projects involving the use and commercialization of intellectual property.
• Support legal matters relating to content production, licensing, distribution, and intellectual property utilization across the Group.
• Advise internal stakeholders on copyright compliance and legal risks throughout project implementation.

3. Intellectual Property Protection & Enforcement (15%)

• Manage the registration and protection of the Group's intellectual property rights.
• Coordinate with internal departments to identify, prevent, and address intellectual property infringements.
• Support enforcement actions in accordance with applicable laws and relevant international treaties.

4. Legal Dispute Resolution & Commercial Support (20%)

• Provide legal advice and guidance on intellectual property disputes and infringement matters.
• Handle disputes relating to licensing agreements, copyright ownership, and contractual obligations.
• Support legal matters for marketing, advertising, and communication campaigns involving intellectual property.
• Recommend practical legal solutions and participate in dispute resolution processes.

5. Legal Compliance & Knowledge Management (10%)

• Monitor changes in intellectual property, copyright, and commercial regulations.
• Maintain and update legal resources relating to IP management.
• Organize legal training sessions and provide guidance to internal teams on intellectual property regulations and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Law. A Lawyer Practicing Certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or at a law firm specializing in Intellectual Property, Copyright, Commercial Law, or Dispute Resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Law, Copyright Law, Commercial Law, and relevant international treaties.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating intellectual property and commercial agreements.
• Strong legal advisory, negotiation, dispute resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to draft legal documents in English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
