DatVietVAC announced that it is developing plans for an IPO (initial public offering) in 2026, while focusing on a development model based on intellectual property (IP) assets. This information was shared by Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh, the founding chairman and CEO of the company, at an event held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10th.

According to the announcement, in 2025 DatVietVAC recorded revenue of VND 3,225 billion, EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) of VND 445 billion, and net profit after tax (NPAT) of VND 380 billion. The plan for 2026 sets a target of VND 3,382 billion in revenue, VND 420 billion in net profit after tax, and a dividend payout ratio of 15%.

Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh stated that the company's development strategy focuses on content creation linked to IP (intellectual property assets, such as programs, music, and artists), where content is not limited to production but is also commercially exploited. According to him, evaluating a business should be based on factors such as its ability to create IP, exploit its value, scale up, and commercialize its operations.

On the sidelines of the event, Mr. Phan Dang Hung - Director of Strategy and Development at Dat Viet VAC - stated that in 2025, after-tax profit will be approximately 380 billion VND, a 12% increase compared to the same period. Equity capital will be over 1,000 billion VND, corresponding to a return on equity (ROE) of approximately 38%.

The revenue structure consists of two main segments: content production and ownership (content segment) and media and advertising services, each accounting for approximately 50% of revenue.

Of that total, the content segment contributed approximately 1,600 billion VND, including programs such as "Brother Says Hi," "Beautiful Girl Says Hi," "2 Days 1 Night," along with concert organization and artist management.

The remainder comes from the other segment, which provides consulting and implementation services to companies such as Unilever, Pepsi, and Masan.

Sharing his plans for the IPO, Mr. Phan Dang Hung stated that the timing will depend on two main factors. Firstly, market conditions, including the overall performance of the stock market and the level of investor interest. Secondly, the progress in completing legal procedures as required by regulatory authorities.

According to Mr. Hung, given the expectation of a positive trend in the stock market, along with policies promoting the development of the cultural industry, the company believes 2026 is a suitable time to implement its IPO plan. However, the specific decision will still be considered based on the actual developments of the market.

Regarding operational direction, Mr. Dao Van Kinh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of DatVietVAC, said that the company will continue to diversify content to expand its audience. Besides the young audience, the company plans to develop content for children and those over 30 years old, thereby broadening its reach.
